Three-D animation has become popular and general kind of animation, far surpassing Cel-drawn or stop-motion animation. Major problem faced when making 3-D animated figures is making realistic animated hair. The cause for this is that every hair takes up PC memory, and more hairs greater usage. Luckily, there are now programs on market that control these calculations easily. Including dynamically animated hair in Poser is difficult procedure, but is doable with good PC.

Instructions

Step 1

Start Poser. Choose figure in view and remove it. Then in "Libraries" tab choose "Figures" library and get figure you would like to utilize. Include it to scene.

Step 2

Tick on "Face" camera. This zooms in on character's head. Utilize "Move X Z" tool to pull back bit from head.

Step 3

Tick on "Hair" room. The interface will modify to hair room controls.

Step 4

Tick on "New Growth Group" and name the hair. Tick "Edit Growth Group" and utilize "Grouping" tool to choose region on figures head where you want hair. Close the dialog. Then click "Grow Guide Hairs" and Poser will put "guide hairs" over region you chosen.

Step 5

Fine tune "Length," "Density" "Spring" and other properties of hair.

Step 6

Press "Calculate Dynamics" and program will run simulation of hair. Now pose figure across frames to make animation and hair will move dynamically relative to gravity and motion. You can also include wind force to create blowing hair.
