Converting QuickTime Movie to MPEG-4 for Mac
QuickTime video format is default standard for video utilized on Macintosh and works with all video player and editing programs. Converting QuickTime movie to MPEG-4 video format makes video file that is suitable with video programs that run on Mac as permitting video to be utilized on iPods and many mobile devices. Converting QuickTime move using QuickTime Pro Player program on Mac makes sure compatibility with both QuickTime movies and MPEG-4 videos. The conversion procedure does not need any skill in editing video and can be acheived in some minutes.

Instructions

Step 1

Download Mac version of QuickTime Player program. Install QuickTime Player program to Mac's hard drive and launch it. Select "Registration" from menu under "File". Leave "Registration" window that emerges on screen.

Step 2

Buy QuickTime Pro registration code from website. Enter registration code and name. Shut "Registration" window. Close this program.

Step 3

Run QuickTime Pro. Copy and paste QuickTime movie from Mac's hard disk into Quicktime Pro. Wait as QuickTime movie loads in QuickTime Pro.

Step 4

Choose "Export" under "File". Choose "Movie to MPEG-4" from menu beside "Export". Leave "Default Settings" under "Movie to MPEG-4" as is. Click "Options" button and choose "Video" tab. Pick "MPEG-4 Improved" under "Video" tab. Click on "OK" button to close window.

Step 5

Click "Save" button. QuickTime movie is saved to Mac's hard disk in MPEG-4 video file format. Close QuickTime Pro after MPEG-4 video file has been stored.
