You have handled to take particular moments and memories on digital camera, but now what? Memory card is going to hold many video files, and you want to save those images for future, so you want to move files to other digital storage device or to PC. All digital cameras do not work similar, nor do they save and store files same.

Instructions

Step 1

Switch on camera and attach USB interface cable to camera. Plug must be tiny, odd shaped female plug placed beside AV connection.

Step 2

Put in standard rectangular USB plug into open USB port. Based on make and model of PC, these ports placed on back of CPU. Many new PCs are set with USB ports on front panel of PC, also. PC must mechanically identify camera and show dialog box asking how you want to go. If no dialogue box emerges, just open My Computer and see if there is an icon for camera there. If not, you want to install software from CD Rom. If PC did identify camera and dialogue box shown, go to next step.

Step 3

Click Download Video. If there is not choice to download video directly to PC, then you want to open My Computer and find icon for camera.

Step 4

Double click camera icon to open folder, and find video you want to download.

Step 5

Right click on icon for preferred video and save it. A dialogue box will emerge and show message that file is being moved.
