Creating Text Box with Rounded Corners in Word

In Word you can create text boxes in documents and change them using text box tools aspect. This aspect gives range of tools that allow changing shape, color and look of text box. By using integral shapes, you can quickly modify regular text box into one with rounded corners to give document crisp, professional look. Also utilize this aspect to modify shape of current text box.

Instructions

Word 2007

Step 1

Open document in Word 2007. Go to "Insert" tab and select "Text Box." A list of integral text boxes appears.

Step 2

Click on "Draw manuscript Box".

Step 4

Tick on document where text box located and drag mouse to make height and width. Tick text box's border to change size of box.

Step 5

Tick on text box and choose "Text Box Tools".

Step 6

Click "Change Shape" in Text Box Styles sector. Choose "Rounded Rectangle" in Basic Shapes sector. Text box will modify into box with rounded corners.

Word 2003

Step 1

Start paper in remark 2003.

Step 2

Click "Insert" and select "Text Box".

Step 3

Click "Draw Text Box" and click in region of document where text box located. Drag mouse to make height and width. Click on text box's border to fine tune size.

Step 4

Step 5 Double click on text box and depiction Tools carte du jour will appear.

Step 5

Click "Change Shape" in Text Box Styles sector. Choose "Rounded Rectangle" in Basic Shapes sector. Text box will convert into box with rounded corners.
