Converting and Burning MPEG File

Step 1

ConvertXtoDVD should be download on PC. This is freeware application that functions with complete edition without advanced choices and other additions that are not needed to change MPEG to DVD. There are many programs that can change MPEGS to DVDs, but ConvertXtoDVD is accessible and fast to use.

Step 2

Install ConvertXtoDVD.

Step 3

Start ConvertXtoDVD program. It may be ask if you want to connect to Internet to search for update which is needless, so click "No." Then see main screen of program.

Click on file. Choose "Add Video File." New window appears, asking about which file you want to convert to DVD.

Find and choose MPEG file to convert to DVD. After it is highlighted, click "Open". This loads file into ConvertXtoDVD program and close file selection window. You must see in program window big region that tells "Menu-My DVD" and under it must be file name, as video stream. There is plus sign that when clicked on will show many options on each of video streams so that you can customize DVD file.

Step 6

Click "Settings" choose "General". It gives different options about DVD file you desire to make. One option is to where you want new DVD file to be located after it completes converting. Select file destination that will be suitable for you and simply remembered. Click "OK" after you have completed with these options. This will close new screen and send back to old program window.

Step 7

Push "Convert" button then conversion procedure take a moment to convert, Based on length and size of original MPEG clip. After program has completed, new window ask if you want to burn converted DVD file to recordable DVD.

Step 8

Insert blank DVD-R into DVD-drive. If you want to burn new file to DVD-r now, using ConvertXtoDVD, push "Burn Now" knob, and it burns file to DVD. Stay and burn converted DVD to DVD-R later, using program like Powe2Go or Nero, then tick "Do Not Burn Now," which save work and permit to close program.

Step 9

Open containing folder that saved converted DVD file. Inside must be working DVD file that burn onto DVD-R. Ensure that files are working correctly by playing in PC, and close folder. Converting MPEG to DVD is finished.
