Word 2007 creates including combo boxes simply than previous editions of Word. By "Developer" tab, make it that has choices users can pick. There are 25 options in combo box. Also protect box you made from unnecessary editing modifications by locking it. Combo boxes can added to Word that will finally be utilized as Web pages to make an interactive visitor experience.
Instructions
Step 1
Start Word document. Click "Microsoft Office" and choose "Word Options." Pick "Show developer tab." Click "OK."
Step 2
Click "Developer" tab. Click "Design Mode" in "Controls" sector. Click "OK" to facilitate macros.
Step 3
Choose region on document where combo box located and click "Combo Box". Box appears as "Choose an item." This is combo box. Click "Choose an item" and enter user commands for combo box. Click outside of box when finished.
Step 4
Click combo box and choose "Properties". Properties options box appears. Type in title for combo box in "General" sector.
Step 5
Check type of editing control that need for box in "Locking" sector. These choices can maintain users from removing box or editing its contents.
Step 6
Click "Add" in "Properties" to include option to combo box. Type in title for option. Option's title becomes option's value. If you want option to have various values, type "Value" box. Click "OK" to put option in combo box.
Do again procedure until you have included all box options.
Step 7
Press "OK" to save modifications created to combo box.
