Occasionally, when recording video you can have soundtrack playing in your head. Music and sound effects have way of including vast layers of depth to scene that, without audio, would show dry and uninteresting. When including audio clip to video clip, you require video editor on PC. Many available video editing programs have ability to lay an audio clip over video clip without extra effort and knowledge of software.
Instructions
Step 1
Start video editing software. Though there are many titles you can buy from store, many PCs come already installed with either Windows Movie Maker or iMovie.
Step 2
Click "File" next "Import." Little search window shows. Choose both audio and video files you want to place together and click "OK."
Step 3
Choose video file and click and drag file down into timeline on base of screen.
Step 4
Click and drag audio file down into audio track of timeline. Put it where you want it to show on video track.
Step 5
See and listen to video to ensure audio happens where you desire it to. If it does not, you can move audio clip backward and forward one frame with edit forward or back buttons on software.
Step 6
Save and export audio and video clip as one file by click "File," "Export." Choose video file format, title file and click "OK." Audio/video file is now made.
