PCs generally come with recovery disc for their software, but if you occurred to obtain a PC that has already installed software, recovery disc might not be integrated. If this is case, or if old recovery CD is scratched, you want to create new recovery disc. Recovery discs help restore PC if malware, virus or other nasty software program has ruined PC.

Instructions

Step 1

Make folder in root folder labeled XP.

Step 2

Put in XP install disc into optical drive and browse to this drive.

Step 3

Open CD folder and copy all contents to XP folder that made before.

Step 4

Download Windows XP SP 2 Network Installation Package.

Step 5

Start command Prompt and enter c:\sp2\WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU /integrate:c:\xp. This takes some minutes to finish.

Step 6

Start ISO burning software like Nero, choose Windows XP disc and make CD bootable by adding BootImage.img.

Step 7

Utilize CD burning software like Nero to burn CD. Utilize BootImage.img for boot image data of CD.

Step 8

Burn CD and your work is completed.
