Billminder was standard characteristic in Quicken 2004 and previous versions, discontinued for time and then brought back in Quicken 2008 as append gadget to utilize with Vista. Standard Billminder is default utility characteristic set to show every time you start PC and remind upcoming bills, planned transactions, check you want to print, and Calendar notes. To stop this edition of Quicken Billminder you should stop it. Vista version of Billminder runs from Vista sidebar. To stop it from running deletes the application.

Instructions

To Stop Quicken Billlminder 2004 or Earlier

Step 1

Go to "Edit" on main menu, and then tick "Options and Reminders."

Step 2

Under Billminder strip and find "Show Billminder When early Windows" checkbox.

Step 3

Delete check mark from "Show Billminder" box and tick "OK" to go back to main menu. Next time you start PC Quicken Billminder will not show.

To Remove the Billminder Gadget from the Vista Sidebar

Step 1

Show Vista sidebar if it is unseen. If sidebar is off to permit for extra screen room, you require turning on it to eliminate Billminder gadget. Go to "Start", then "All Programs," "Accessories," and click "Windows Sidebar".

Step 2

Right tick Billminder gadget and choose "Close Gadget."

Step 3

Shut sidebar if you do not desire it visible on desktop. To close, right tick and choose "Close sidebar."
