Trial version of MS Office is located on several new PCs. If you click it, or try to open Word, Excel or PowerPoint file, it will run this trial version. Enter the Product Key
1. If you have bought copy of MS Office 2007, you have provided product key, which is special code that shows you own it. Places to search for product key contain CD-ROM case, certificate of validity from Microsoft that come with CD or with PC that had product installed on it, an email message from Microsoft verifying buy, or on sticker or user manual that came with PC.
Run Product Activation Wizard
2. If you have missing product key, obtain new one by running product activation wizard. Also utilize product activation wizard to activate product by entering it. For this, go to "Start", "All Programs", and “Microsoft Office." Choose any Office program and click "Office" button after it starts. Click "Options" section. Uninstall Trial Version
3. If you have not bought MS Office 2007 and do not plan to, uninstall program. Go to "Start", "Settings" and "Control Panel," and click "Programs and Features." In the list find trial version of MS Office 2007 and click it. Select "Uninstall" from menu bar and follow instructions and prompts to finish uninstallation of trial software.
Other Software Options
4. If you do not want to acquire MS Office, but want program that will do similar purposes and open files made in Office application, attempt Open Office. This is free, open source suite of applications. When you install it, set it up to default relevance for Office file formats.
