    Default software on Ubuntu

    Installing non-standard software on Ubuntu

Just now I switched from XP to Ubuntu and its working well. But problem is when I attempt to install any software. Non-Standard Software’s despite Ubuntu package like Exe, RPM, etc are not installed on Ubuntu. Can anyone know how to install non-standard software on Ubuntu?

    1) To install software when it is not accessible as Ubuntu enclose, but Exe, RPM, autopackage run. Run, binary. RPMs are for allocations depending on Red Hat Linux also utilize this system. RPMs can occasionally be installed on Ubuntu with alien. Alien can modify packages from one system to other. He controls five formats .deb .rpm .tgz .slp .pkg if program is not accessible in package for Ubuntu is but for other allocations, Alien will be useful.

    2) With Windows, purchase software on site of editor or download free software. In Linux, just open package manager and go to software sorted by type or utilize search bar for query yourself. This handler embedded in Ubuntu is linked to database software, "repo". Remaining Ubuntu has all software packages whose compatibility with OS utilized has been checked.
