Thread: Some websites not loading.

The thing is that the internet half works. Sites like Facebook, gamefaqs and ebay work fine, while others such as hotmail, orkutr and afl.com not work at all.

I have tried different things for example flushdns and changing my MTU but nothing works. I connected one of my laptops through Ethernet and it still does not work.

One of my housemates called our isp and they were useless.

If you are having any suggestions then reply me. It can helpful to me.

Start with the simplest solution first, Unplug the power cords from the router and modem.
Wait for few minutes and after that plug the modem back in. after that when its lights stop flashing or about minute plug the router power cord back in. See what that does, sometimes that’s all it takes.

I think your System is suffered from malware or virus. I recommend you to download your updated antivirus/spyware program and doing a full scan of your system. It could be that something has infected your network and is pass on your local DNS settings.
