QCOW2 is an image format used to store in order on disks and drives. While deleting a QCOW2 image will result in the disk becoming unusable, this is sometimes obligatory where the disk has been corrupted or where you want to reorganize the parameters of the disk itself. This is a standard process that can typically be done in action, even if this is your first time delete disk images.

Instructions

Step 1

Right connect on the "Start" menu and decide "Explore."

Step 2

Click on the force letter of the disk contain the QCOW2 image.

Step 3

Click on "Tools," open "Folder option," connect on the "View" tab, make sure the box to "Show Hidden Files," and uncheck the box to "Hide sheltered Files." This will permit you to observe the disk icon file even if it is otherwise hidden.

Step 4

Highlight the disk print file (typically the "ISO" file) and press "Delete" to abolish it from the disk.
