Thread: iTunes installation issue

I am using windows vista operating system. I am trying to install iTunes and when I do I get a message that says you should first installed VBScripts. Can anybody tell me what steps I should follow to install VBScript? Thanks in advanced.

Follow the steps which may solve your problem:

• Go to start >>type run in search box >> press enter

• In the command prompt, type the following: regsvr32 vbscript.dll

• Hit Enter

• You should get a message that states the registration of the DLL file was successful.

• Try installing iTunes again.

In Windows Vista, you should register the module vbscript.dll from an Command punctual window. To open a Command Prompt

• Click Start >> click All Programs,

• Then Click Accessories >> right-click Command Prompt,

• And after that click run as administrator.

Type the following in the Command Prompt window and hit ENTER
regsvr32 %systemroot%\system32\vbscript.dll
