It seems that the factory restore divider is injured.
Have you created revival disks prior to? If not, you be supposed to speak to HP and obtain revival disks for your model?
One thing you may attempt to do prior to the above advice, boot your PC to safe mode command prompt, if you can, and give the following command:
C:\Windows\System32\rstrui.exe (I assume Windows is on C :\)
If this command (Windows system restores) works, you might return your laptop to an earlier time before the event that made you opt for restoring your laptop to factory settings.
