    Default How do I eliminate Ubuntu

    I am using a computer system installed with Ubuntu 9.10. I tried just deleting the Ubuntu Drive. But I am not able to delete. Also i tried to an Uninstall Ubuntu file. Can anybody provide me the correct way for uninstalling Ubuntu? Please reply me as soon as possible.

    You can't "uninstall" an operating system. Try to format the partition it's on. Though, I think you are using GRUB bootloader. It is written on the boot sector and will totally twist your computer if you just format the Ubuntu partition. Boot from your Windows DVD to recovery and try to recover the Windows bootloader, and after that format your Ubuntu partition.

    It’s really quite simple, every time you shut down, AutoFsck finds information on your disks. Every linux partition has two important number associated with it, one is the number of times it has been mounted, the other is the number of times it is allowed to before being checked. AutoFsck looks at these, and if your drives are due for checking it asks if you want to check them. If you say yes, your drives are checked and your computer shuts down. If you say no, AutoFsck will ensure that the check will not run next time at boot. You will then be asked again the next time you shut down...
