Default Choosing a sound card for singing lessons

    Hello!

I need a sound card, which allows for singing at home, feel like on stage. I have about the sound. My sound card is Creative SB Audidgy2ZS (D000) it is me, in principle, quite satisfied. But ... break out the microphone and, when the microphone is now a terrible rumble . And I really liked the effects, even when singing EAX Environment-Auditorium. I used this card for recording. Also receive a net quite a record. So, I wanted to buy the same new card. But selling them is not available. And in our stores does no one can give the council the normal sound.

So, I very much you ask, advice, please me: what card is in its characteristics, such as the Creative SB Audidgy2ZS (D000)? It would be very grateful.

Although neither the card nor your previous are not designed for professional music lessons, you'll want to buy it.

The card is better or worse than the Creative SB Audidgy2ZS (D000)? And even then advise the card, which will allow a more professional music. But my budget is not very big.

Thank you in advance for your reply.

Just have to sing into a microphone with overlaid Chorus under or you are trying to accompany me on a musical instrument and something to write and record? You are connected directly to input card?

If sufficient budget in the home studio in such a situation, use an external mic preamp and effects processor, a computer is only playing, mixing, and if you want - write.

    Responses on the items:

I need to sing into a microphone with overlaid Chorus under and record music as well.

My program is Adobe Audition 2.0 for recording.

Now I connect a microphone directly to the sound card.

SB Creative X-Fi Xtreme Audio Surround 5.1 <USB> (RTL) remote control differs from the X-Fi Xtreme Audio? And yet, that the card is PCI Express X-Fi Xtreme Audio? What is it better?

Meanwhile, it is an external card and is intended primarily for home theater-based laptop. You are not recommended.

The same, only with more modern interface. (PCI-E instead of PCI).

Thank you for your detailed responses. Now I have decided to buy desktop computer for SB Creative X-Fi Xtreme Audio (OEM) PCI SB0790. And now will save money on remote card, thanks to your advice. But I am not very satisfied with it. Probably will need to buy separate effects.

There are specialized processors for vocalists because except a compressor is required, but also a Chorus sometimes useful, but this is unfortunately not our profile.

Well, they brought me this card today, SB Creative X-Fi Xtreme Audio (OEM) PCI SB0790.

I have a very strong disorder effects is not very practical. EAX panel terrible, those effects that I enjoyed there. This effect Auditorium and impossible to adjust the microphone and volume control. If the 2ZS has effects on karaoke for singing, it is simply not. And they need me! I wrote to you about it. House, I do not use mixing console. What do I do now with this card, I do not know? Or I need to install it correctly?

And yet: I can not find a mixer in this map. Where is he?

It is waiting for your response!

Sorry that you have this card ... in spite of the X-Fi in the title of this is not a x-fi ... you offered an excellent card at a reasonable price. Itself when it fell to the Extreme Audio...
