Thread: I want to buy sound card?

I am planning to buy a good sound card. It should be good for Music and OK for games. I am considering Creative X-fi Xtreme Audio. Is this OK? Also please clarify some doubts. Is Asus Xonar DX better than' Creative X-Fi Xtreme Audio? I have a budget 5.1 speakers Creative SBS A500, Can I experience the power of the sound card with this speaker? What is the price of these cards?

I recommend the ASUS Xonar DX, a good sound card for Rs. 3,600 or so. ASUS is considered to use quality materials on their soundcards.
