Thread: sound from headphones not speakers

My laptop headphone speaker have stopped functioning and I don't obtain sound. every one settings in Control Panel then Sound then Speakers are bowed on and green. I have Lenovo ThinkPad T61p laptop.

One opportunity is the toggle in headphone jack that cuts off speakers. They are a bit fragile and do occasionally break.
