Thread: Sound problems

My system has stopped working. I checked the device manager and there were no clashes with the sound devices. I observed that this issue only occurred in one of user accounts. If I logged in as administrator all the sound worked well. In the user account, when any sound was played a message appears saying no sound device installed. I have tried re-installing the AC97 audio drivers but nothing is happen.

May be that one user has muted the sound or turned down the volume to zero. That would be effective only for him. Get him too un-mute or turn the volume up..

If you’re sound card is permamatly on your motherboard then you go to motherboards manufactures website.
