I installed the fresh licensed windows 7 and there are no drivers for my sound card. On windows vista i would go on device manager and update and it would work but No drivers and no automatic search for that driver nothing.

If you realize the make and model sound card you have there you can generally go right to the producer own support site for updates on drivers and yet the software application for the card. The one good thing about moving up from windows Vista to windows 7 is that most Vista drivers and apps will work on windows7 without problems. You just need to go for those whether for Vista, Vista/7, or even 7 beta/7 updates at this time and should be capable to have sound working in no time.
