Thread: Make sound problem in sleep mode

I have the 3 months RTM organization edition installed and all seems to be figuring out now just if I utilize sleep mode and then awake computer up my sound does not operate and I have a red x over the speaker icon on the right side of the task bar by the time.

If every was good with your old RAM. That should be your initial port of call. Take out the new RAM and install the old. Though i question this'll be the case. Windows Vista and Windows 7 have a habitation to drop connections when wakening from sleep mode my only thought at the minute is to disable sleep mode.

I have a statement for network connection fall but not for sound. Windows Vista so soon has a patch issued for this problem. You'll have to wait for the retail Windows7 to acquire that patch. Choice would be to Disable and Enable the Windows Audio Endpoint Builder service.

I acquired with MS Tech support and they experience about this problem with a some laptops and do not know how to solve it, have accepted 2gb ram chip out and put back a 1gb chip so I have 3gb ram and the sound brings like it utilized to and till MS Tech can solve it there is nothing I can do about. Have to live with it for now.

I detected the problem was the driver, I have no thought why. Attempt reinstalling the driver. That would be my suggest. What audio driver is it utilizing?
