Thread: PSU creating loud sounding noise?

I purchased a pre-built computer at some months ago and last week it began to make a loud buzzing noise. I believed possibly it was another element inside but it turns out the noise is coming from the PSU. It sounds like a lawn mower, it’s loud.

Please help me in this problem.

Looks like your psu cooling fan is approach release and rubbing on something inside the psu case. Speak to your retailer you purchased the computer from and let them know what is finding. If the fan fails you could cook your psu.

PSU fan is really operating on the last miles think changing the PSU as soon as possible.
