Thread: Sound issues from caviar green

Hi all, I am using caviar green from past many days and having weird issue. Sound suddenly stops while accessing data. Please help! Thanks in advance!

I guess that this problem is due to firmware issue. I suggest that you should access the Hard Drive Diagnostic software and check what it notices on the computer of mine. You can download this particular software from the internet for free.

I guess I know that what you should do to fix this issue. Well I feel you should do defrag the hard disk and also use the similar one as to thermal information. All knows very well that the overheating the most unsafe enemy of all type of electronics. If overheating takes on your hard disk then it might cause the mechanical failure of the hard disk.

I advise that you should check the error by using CHKDSK utility by which is taking on the device. You have to reboot your computer and by just pressing and hold the Ctrl key from the keyboard. Formerly your computer is booted into safe mode you have to click on Start button and join CHKDSK C: /F /R on Run and hit enter from the keyboard. /R option will scan for the bad sector on the hard disk and /F option will solve the error which is noticed by the CHKDSK utility.
