If better audio performance is what matters to you then Creative's Aurvana series could be what you need. Aurvana Live! follows the same chunky look with an overall good output quality. The outside of the earbuds are polished in black lacquered plastic with a gun metal lining that deserves a second look. But the lacquered finish has also made it smudge prone. The logo engraved on top of the left earbud with a glossy gunmetal finish has made it stylish. The insides of the earbud and the headphone both are cushioned with a black leather like material to make it ultra comfortable. The design is really praise worthy and deserves to be the USP of Live! headphones.

But Live! is not worth carrying around with because there is no way to fold them up. We expected a hinge on top of the headband which would have made it easy to fold and so to carry. In the bundle we found the headphone along with a cable extender and a big pouch. The headphone cable can be plugged with any multimedia player or notebook. But in case you need to connect with a distant unit, the cable extender will prove useful.

The sound quality is good in every genre without an inch of exaggeration from any section. We tried some live concert music tracks from Guns n Roses and Metallica along with some of the best blues from our archive. And as per expectation Live! provided subtle performances with every number. The presence of bass with an extra bit of treble is notable on the highs.

On the whole Aurvana Live! is a nice headphone both in terms of performance and ergonomics. We expected a volume rocker on the headphone, which is just missing. On the whole Aurvana Live! is really worth your money whether you're just a casual listener or a voracious audiophile.
