Logitech USB Headset 250 Review - Testing the Headset 250
Installation of headrest was simple; once it is plugged in it automatically takes over and plays through headphones, every microphone signals will be picked up from headset. To check headset to find out how well these work I determined to attempt these headphones in some various states. I determined to see how well it could pick up on microphone. Sitting on PC here with microphone at regular settings, the keystrokes were clearly magnified. It is remarkably powerful and clear microphone. Comparing Audio playback I listened to one of my favorite songs I have heard many times. I listened closely as song played. Each bit of song came through remarkably. Comparing quality it’s surely better than earlier Logitech headphones and microphone which attached with two 1/8” cables. Though audio playback was not rather as high quality as my Sennheiser HD212 Pro headphones, they do not present a microphone or USB connection.
The deciding figures for these headphones would be how well will they perform during gaming, as actually that is what attracted me to this headset. The signals are transmitted as they generally would with speakers or standard headphones. Sounds created to left are on left and similar with right. When somebody obtains on their microphone, they are transmitted in both left and right channels for better clarity.
The only problem that you should have USB attached before you starts your game. If you plug USB connector in gaming, it will not get signal in headphones and keep on playing through your speaker system.
Beside with that if you are using a media player before connecting USB plug, your media will keep on play through your speakers while any multimedia program, application or game opened after USB connection was recognized, signal will be played through headphones.
All these problems can be solved by just restarting all programs you want to play through headphones. Though that could be a hurt when you are already into a game and somebody says to put your headphones on. I can tell there is no way to solve this problem; headset just can’t divert audio when it’s being sent to the other signal.
