Zebronics, a comparatively new player in the IT channel, has a good line-up of products for those who don't have a high budget for speakers. This system is surprisingly the only one, with a 2-way satellite, tweeter and mid woofer separate. The mini bookshelf shaped satellites have a red circular accent on the front, and so does the subwoofer with red LEOs lined up vertically. The red and black color scheme looks pretty nice overall. The system comes with a remote, and also has volume control for individual channels. The subwoofer is front ported, and slightly curved towards the top edge.
Sound wise we were pleasantly surprised at the depth of the bass-this speaker system can surely go low. The tightness is still lacking, anyways we did not expect accuracy wonders at this price range. The mids and highs are more defined and surely a little smoother than its counterparts with single drivers. It's not too open and airy though; there is still a planar quality to the sound output. We found that the crossover point is a little uneven in its response, but the overall experience wasn't too bad. We were quite impressed by the response but this system should have been a little louder-the output is not "all engulfing"
FOR: Good features, impressive high and mid frequency response.
AGAINST: Could have been louder.
