Speaker problem MacBook Pro Speaker problem
I have seen that when I plug in speakers to my MacBook pro sound does not automatically come out of both speakers immediately. I see optical light coming out of it so I think jack is ok, but it does not look to identify when headphones are connected. Every time I am on windows, red light looks to shine out, so I think this is optical out. Please help me to solve this problem.

1) Are these speakers connected with optical or headphone jack? Maybe top of speaker connection off speakers has somewhat more rubber on it than some, so it does not go in far sufficient and putting it in mono bit, attempting using speaker extension cable and then connecting speakers into end of that I only observed random noise when I began using MBP as desktop and attaching it to external speakers.

2) Most peoples facing similar problem with MacBook Pros. The Apple Pro Speakers and 2.5mm. When we detached our headphones, OS X did not go back to internal speakers. You must push a small button in speaker-out port.
