Wired headphones can be quite a pain in the neck at times. Firstly you have to be glued to your seat and secondly the cable comes in the way of almost everything. The Tech-Com SSD-HPW-211 is an affordable wireless headphones set with large cushioned earcups. It's powered by two AAA batteries that fit into the compartment on the left earcup. The controls for volume, scanning radio stations and resetting the FM tuner are on the right. An FM tuner is built into the headphone unit and not into the transmitter, so you don't have to be in listening range to enjoy FM radio.

The transmitter on the other hand has a built-in microphone that allows you to talk to the person wearing the headphones, but this communication is one-way. Towards the rear you will notice a switch with three different settings-PC mode, one-way audio transmission and voice chat mode. That said the audio transmitter has a distance of a mere 10 feet which is practically useless. Sadly the' headphones are not resistant to external interference and can be quite a pain when kept close to the Pc. The set has a decent wireless range but fares just about average in audio quality.
