The speakers themselves are quite trivial the left speaker weighs in at 1 pound, 3.5 ounces and the left at 1 pound, 6.5 ounces except they're not wholly unsubstantial. JBL has expediently located a volume control on the apex of the right speaker that when twisted all way to left, shuts off the speaker.
