My system does not completely identify the 1 TB hard drive
I have WesternDigital 1 TB hard drive and my system only shows me that it only 931 GB storage capacity is my hard drive defective one or it has some bad sectors in it?

The 1TB hard drive should show almost 1024 GB of space of storage capacity it might me due to wrong partition created by leaving some space or due to some bad sectors in your hard drive you can have a check by going through your hard drive scan during boot up and if it does not show any bad sectors it means your hard drive is ok and you need to create again new partition in the hard drive.
