Thread: Question related to Universal Serial Bus Hard Disk

I am facing a query relating to USB hard drive when I plug-in the drive is being detected by the computer and I can see all the option like safely remove the drive but it is not detected in the my computer to check out the files and drive is still missing but thr USB option can be seen in the left hand side of the taskbar is there any way I can get back my drive in working condition as the data is very important to me?

I would like to assist that even I was facing the same problem with the hard drive it is mainly caused due to some viruses in the drive so better get it scan from the best Anti-Virus it may solve your problem or else check the hard drive by changing the USB cable of the drive or remove the drive casing and check whether its IDE or SATA and connect it directly through cable to the Internal IDE or SATA port and check if you can see the drive is being identified by the PC then the issue was relating to casing of the external drive and still if the drive is not being identified it means the problem would be relating to USB or SATA interface.
