Thread: A bleep sound being heard from hard drive

I am hearing a beep sound from the hard disk for the first time I have purchased a new Seagate hard disk few months ago and now I am facing these problem and these happen by chance anytime during normal use or during when I log into windows and checked all the Seagate diagnostic utility but the computer management says it’s fine and now I have moved my PC near a TV antenna and when TV is switched on there are bad reception from the TV but I still listen the same beep sound and when shifted the computer the TV signal are fine? What is the reason behind these issue or the TV reception signal are causing it?

I would like to assist that you should first check the Hard drive by opening the cabinet and find whether the beep sound is being produced by hard drive or the motherboard as these beep sound is heard when the memory is not being fitted correctly or it is not matching the motherboard memory module it might be due to bad heads of the hard disk after checking the hard drive with all the provided Seagate function it does not ends up the problem better to get it replaced from the Seagate dealer before the warranty gets over.
