Default How to shift data very simply

I am using a 20 GB hard drive at present and want to buy another hard drive with larger storage capacity so how can I transfer my data from the present hard drive to the new hard drive?

I would like to advice you that it depend on what you are transferring whether the windows file or only your personal data. If you want to install your new drive as master and the other as slave as you can clone your old drive in your new drive as there are many programs available in the market and the most preferred is Norton Ghost drive image just install the new drive as slave in your system along with your old drive.
Then install the drive image software and copy everything to new drive and select the new drive as bootable in your system and unplug the old drive and set the new drive as master and start your computer. If you are only replacing the old drive to new one you can burn or copy the data in the CD or flash drive and after that you can copy your files to the new hard drive.
