The 320 GB Apacer Share Steno AC202 uses the USB 2.0 interface for connectivity and features a SmartCopy button for instant backup. Bundled with the drive is a mini-CD which contains the backup utility and the necessary drivers for the device. The utility has a very good security feature which' enables you to create a secure password-protected partition. It comes bundled with a rubber sleeve which can be mounted over the entire casing for additional shock protection. Although the rubber sleeve solves its purpose, the looks are blemished due to the bad quality of the material. Once the rubber sleeve is mounted, it is almost impossible to depress the backup switch, which makes operating the drive a little intricate. Transfer speeds are average with speeds of around 26 MB/s for single files and 18 MB/s for multiple files.
