I dont know what the issue is, as my hard disk is showing as a cd rom. It used to work perfectly, it is a toshiba 80gb hard disk. Its more than its warranty period and so it does not make any sense taking it to the support guys. I cant format it, nor read it, nor go to the device management and format it, as it shows as a cd rom. I have changed the letter and tried, but no difference. I tried regenerator softwares, but all see it as a cd rom, and double clicking gives an error as to insert a disk. Can someone help me?
