    Default Trim characteristic in SSDs

I have Intel x25-m ssd 80 GB g1 (not trim tech). I want to know how much quicker ssd with trim technique is. Any help will be appreciated.

Benchmark your drive and compare against others and see if it is slower than it suppose to be. If yes, then it requires trim or new drive.

Drive itself is not quicker with trim. Trim just keeps it from degrading, which does affect performance. Merely trim continues it from degrading, which does effect performance. It keeps performance levels quite flat. It continues fairly flat performance levels.
