Adata NH03 is an external hard drive, which is characterized by the adoption of recent format desktop and USB 3.0 or Super Speed USB. The unit uses an internal Serial ATA drives and is made with a black plastic chassis, which can be positioned both vertically and aligned with the table top, horizontally. The chassis is relatively compact, high-gloss surfaces give a certain elegance, even if they are proved to be particularly delicate and easy to mess up.
The ventilation system of the disc includes a series of slits on the sides and the profile of the case. In this way, the heat can be evacuated without the help of fans, retail and significantly increases the ergonomics of the product, especially in environments that require absolute silence. The device is powered by a compact external drive at 220 V, the budget also includes USB 3.0 cable and a suite of utilities preinstalled.
Adata NH03 has the power button to disable the drive when not in use, in addition to this, the front has been integrated button for quick backup of selected folders. Adata is one of the first (and few) vendors to support the infant USB 3.0 standard, which promises to replace the older USB 2.0, but that will not be especially popular, as are Intel, a leading manufacturer of Chipset, will not introduce a dedicated controller within their ICH and PCH.
The standard USB 3.0 allows you to increase sharply in performance when accessing external drives, especially visible in the case of retail peripherals such as hard disk and pen drive. Faced with a bandwidth of 480 Mbps on USB 2.0, Super Speed USB port that limit up to 4.8 Gbps, for a maximum theoretical speed of 600 MByte / s. This dramatically reduces the bottlenecks of previous external hard drive, limited to real-world performance of only 32 to 35 MByte / s.
