Seagate now became the initial storage vendor to squeeze a full terabyte of data onto a 2.5-inch hard disk drive. Targeted at the enterprise the the industry’s 1TB group.2 is performed for server savings applications.
According to Seagate the latest model is also the first product to send 6Gb/s work. Yes that type of bandwidth and more larger capacities have been possible for customer for little time now but only in the larger 3.5-inch form factor.

The group.2range comes in 250GB and 500GB capacities as well in both SATA and SAS interfaces. And Seagate says this line of hard disks sends improved data integrity with the latest T10 Protection Information standard. They gives a Self Encrypting Drive choice as well.
