I unplug my Seagate 3.5" external harddisk while copying files. I can only detect the driver , cant read file.

Is it a harddisk casing problem ? or the whole harddisk crash ? Any DIY method to recover ? I've impt data in it. Please help !

ok you cant read any files on the harddrive? try copying a new file and then see if you can retrieve it if so then the file you are trying to retrieve now is broken and so its useless

The files may be croup from you unplugging it while data transfer and now I am sorry to say you may have lost the data but it may be able to be recovered I have a program that may be able to recover it just contact me throe e-mail and we can talk more about it.Here is some things you may tryIf you did a copy instead of a move try to save the files to the drive again and if not trying ruining a disk check disk by going to the drive properties and then tools and run it from there.Well good luck
