    Default Harddisk recovery?

I have a 500GB external Seagate harddisk. Was editing a corporate video and the disk has crashed. I am able to view the hard drive but when I right click to explore the drive, all my files does not show up. In fact, there is no file listing at all. The whole harddisk seemed to have chucked all the files away.Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Default Harddisk recovery?

It appears the hard drive formatted itself.. All is not lost. Searching for File Recovery Programs yields alot of results to get your files back. Unfortunately there is usually a charge for this software, but is worth it depending on the importance of said files. BTW It's worth noting that when you are recovering files, DO NOT recover to the same drive.
