The MiniStation Lite is Buffalo's first USB iii movable hard disk. Although the glossy black and matte grey case is created of plastic rather of metal, similar to few other movable disks we have look, it even experiences reassuringly rigid and robust.
The MiniStation was quick at transferring little documents, writing them at 34MB/s and reading them at poly below 61MB/s. Although it was too quick at transferring big documents, writing them at 59MB/s and reading them at 64MB/s, we have seen other USB iii disks that are still faster. Buffalo claims its bunches Turbo Copy plan can boost file copy function, but there was no dissimilarities in our tries.
Other bunches software added a common backup program that supports together planned and incremental backups, though wizard-style interface would not fit everyone. Curiously, a RAM disk tool is too added, but this will be of limited interest to most individual.
The MiniStation Lite is a excellent USB3 movable disk with a so reasonable cost each gigabyte of 16p. Unless you can search a cheaper drive, it is a good purchase.
