High definition playback isn't very easy for all hardware unless there's hardware decoding support from your graphics card or if you have a fairly new dual-eore processor. Nero has an automatic quality setting that downsizes the quality of the video if your system doesn't perform too well. You can find this option under Video Quality under Options > Video. 111e setting should be set to Auto-adjust. If you know your system performs fine, then you would want the best quality-push the slider to Maximum Quality and vice versa if your system isn't performing as well as you'd like.
