Default Distinguish amongst Netbackup and puredisk.

For small or large, netbackup cannot integrate deduplication. Thus a great environment for you to leave Symantec recommends using pure disk and use only netbackup for de duplication. Also I need to know de duplication restriction. Is there something about the size limitation of the puredisk sheet? Please take advice on these criteria as soon as possible.

NetBackup PureDisk is more valuable to install. Both needed a license from the front finish for preserve pool dedupe TB but NetBackup is required to pay for the Enterprise License Server unless you have a media server that can manage the additional load. By design, what are the links that the backup? If you are going to have a central pool and if these remote locations have a Dedupe bond that is large plenty to affirm it. The initial duration is too long. Do you guess that the remote media servers and the apply of the air of NBU 7.1? Clean disk and replicate information among links and deduplication and NetBackup are pool 32TB per node. PureDisk is 16 TB per node. This is extensibility.

Not a good idea to have your server with the storage pool: Preparing Your environment unless there is very little. Symantec recommends 1 GB of RAM per TB storage dedupe space plus You still need memory to normal operation. Not sure if you go to Windows or UNIX, but I wanted to at least 4-8 GB RAM master server only for normal operation. PureDisk Server actually free; simply add the front end of the TB license depends on the size of your environment.

NetBackup is also away for free. Licenses are required for the server itself, PureDisk Add license, license front end TB policies for storage, and lifecycle. SLP is needed to move data from disk to tape Dedupe. A standard NetBackup Server license does not allow a server to connect to it from memory, remain unaccompanied. This has nothing to do with the registration of representation at all.

My point is that you need a server anyway, so I don't see the relevance of this addition to the point of discussion. If you plan on need a server, in terms such as HBAs. Well, it is debatable and depends on the size of the environment that is supported. Most of our servers are Dell MD1000 with a tray (or MD1200) with SATA disks and backup 10 to 30 officers in a single thermal centre.

Well, the drive only supports PureDisk but inside, NetApp NFS or iSCSI FC disk but does not. Even with FC disks You, Symantec for storage needs founded HCL, which is really the worst! Actually I just prefer to cover medium and hard and never high-end today with new models. So having the opportunity to support and make a good effort in supporting You.
