DSL router with DHCP settings advanced search Hi all, i am looking for a small hotel, a DSL router with Wi-Fi, which the Internet for the entire hotel approx 15 rooms provides so far, this makes a small (old) Fritz box Fon WLAN 3170, which unfortunately is in the DHCP range of calls. Now, after about 4 months of continuous operation, it has become so cluttered that it assigns IP addresses no longer, only a reboot helped first - at least temporarily, unfortunately you can not influence them in the AVM lease times - and since they also vary with 10 days quite long, this seems to promote the issue.

I guess he does have 2-3 functions that will be broke, but has in some tests, i have reads rather well and provides an adjustable time of lease expiration time in minutes and Firmware maintenance is also operated, think of the price for what is offered is not too unrealistic.

As would be foreign import Frickel firmware somehow well, consider me uncomfortable, perhaps the requirement defined exit diesbzgl a little more closely, and if it is his site , one may get used to it, after all.

I can not understand why for years the AVM Fritz box DHCP server has not improved - in Berlin, the requests must have piled three feet high, in terms of firmware and support I would look the other way around like swatcher.In an open-source project is likely to get help quickly imho higher, see above.
