Default Correct in saying that CAF'E.

Would I be correct in saying that CAFE. as the name suggests. is simply a consolidation of applications, and thus simply a bigger package of smaller components that are already available?

This is correct. The heart of CAFE is a bundling of components that are already available on their own. In addition, there is some glueware and installer code that enhances the overall experience.
