Thread: How to collect drivers of webcam

I bought an Advik brand webcam two months ago, but now I have lost its driver CD. Please help me and inform me where I can download the driver for this webcam, as there are no driver downloads available on the Advik website for this webcam. Please provide a link of its driver if available. The webcamer is 'Advik, Pixel-lOOk'

Buying Chinese-made peripherals usually have the issues of driver downloads and updates as they are made of local parts available in China. But usually most Chinese peripherals use similar or common chipsets and firmware. Try searching the drivers of the camera by entering the model number and brand of the web camera on Google. Surely,many forums would have topics related to the same issue of drivers and you might get some lead there. Secondly, you can also try updating the operating system from the Internet. The updates would detect the web camera and the latest driver would be downloaded. Once you know the chipset used in the camera, you should be able to search the driver for the same with ease.
