Thread: Recover deleted partitions

You can recover a deleted dynamic NTFS partition as long as you know its exact original volume size. With that informa¬tion, you can re-create the partition via the Windows Server 2003 Disk Manage¬ment snap-in, then use dskprobe.exe to recover the backup boot sector. After that, hit Rescan Disks in the Computer Management Action console to remount the volume.
