When you use the Alt+Tab keyboard combination on Windows XP to switch between running tasks, all you get is program icons. If you have ten windows of a browser open, you simply see ten identical icons, which is like stumbling in the dark. TaskSwitch XP modifies this, and provides previews of the window that you are about to switch into.
