MySpace has given a new dimension to the music industry. Yes, this one aims at promoting music bands by giving them a platform to sell music. MySpace has become the number one destination for upcoming bands. In fact, it is said that promoters book bands based on the number of friends the band's profile has on MySpace.

It gives you the freedom to add slideshows, pictures and customize your design online. MySpace has a very interesting forum where you can read comments posted by people on different topics and share your opinion too. To do this you need to click the Forum tab. You will be able to view a list of different topics. Click on a category of your interest to view a list of articles available. Click the topic/article you want to read. You will now see a list of comments posted by people about their views and experiences about the topic. If you want to add your views and comments, simply click the Reply button, enter your message and click Post.

For all the music fans, there is a special Music tab where you can find all possible music bands. Even local bands and start-up bands can be viewed. To search for your band, click Search in the Music tab. In Set Search Criteria, enter data based on which you want the bands to be listed. Click Update. Click on the band's name to listen to their music tracks, download them and get more information about your favourite band.
